Spider WebWatch
Here's an interesting new project: Spider WebWatch. From the web site:
Spider WebWatch is a biodiversity monitoring effort for biologists, naturalists, educators and students of all ages who have an appreciation for North America's native spider fauna. From more than 4,400 species of spiders, 9 were chosen as eight-legged ambassadors for this interactive program. Choose a spider below to view its sighting reports and learn how to identify it or get started with your own submissions and dig a little deeper into the science of arachnology using the links at right.
This looks like a really fun and accessible project!
